I sadly made one small mistake - I forgot to remove the brush I store for cleaning out the grain mill! So long story short, I was frustrated for about 30 minutes till it dawned on me that I left the brush in there. By leaving the brush, I wasn't able to grind my grain. Once it was removed- BAM! Away I went and grain was milled in no time.
The rest of the brew day went pretty normally. I performed a 90 minute mash (enough time to mow the lawn) and then did a first wort hopping. I'm really beginning to like doing that. Adding the hops before the initial boil really makes the hops less bite and more bitter - also it is one less thing to worry about when the hot break is happening. The next thing was hops at flame out and then chill, whirlpool and drain. The beer is currently fermenting in the shed - it has been low 80's, which I think should be good for the saison.
